Flautist Sarah Canzonetta is dedicated to performing a wide range of music on both flute and piccolo. An avid performer, her experience encompasses performances internationally in orchestras, chamber and solo recitals. She was a member of the Glasgow based Nevis Ensemble as part of their Fellowship program from 2022 -2023, and has joined the OAcademy as a fellow in 2024.
As a postgraduate student at the Royal Northern College of Music, Sarah was supported by the generosity of the Stanley Picker Trust, Waverley Fund Scholarships, Ann Gerrard Award, Pat Barney Award and Pidem Fund. Additionally, as an undergraduate student, she was a recipient of scholarship for flute, and received the University of North Texas Excellence Scholarship.
Sarah has received her Postgraduate Diploma and Master's degrees in Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance with honors from the University of North Texas. Her primary teachers include Cormac Henry, Susan Milan and Mary Karen Clardy.
